Orders and conversations
When you contact our studio, we use the information you submit to respond to your request and help with your watch. When you order, contact, delivery and order information is used to process your purchase, arrange your build and send order updates. Stripe handles payment processing. Our website and transactional email services use Amazon Web Services, and our studio uses Google email services to respond to inquiries.
Saved designs and optional email updates
When you choose “Email me my design,” we store your email address, watch selections, personal dial or rotor text, and any uploaded preview logo using private Amazon Web Services storage, and send you a link to resume your design. Saved design links work for 180 days. Anyone you share the link with can view its design; the link does not display your email or marketing preference. We also notify our studio so we can help with your design.
Saving a design does not subscribe you to marketing. If you separately tick the optional email-updates checkbox, we record your permission, the wording you accepted, its date and source. You can unsubscribe using the link in your design email or by contacting contact@apcustomwatches.com. We retain this preference until you withdraw it or request deletion. Order updates and emails you request can still be sent. Email addresses, custom text and uploaded logos are not included in our analytics events.
We record successful design saves and design-link resumes only if you allow analytics. We use temporary rate-limit records to protect the email form from misuse. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of a saved design or email preference.
Optional website analytics
If you choose “Analytics only” or “Allow all,” we use Google Analytics to measure visits, product views, shopping-bag activity, checkout starts, watch-builder stages and predefined component choices, successful inquiries and verified purchases. Analytics may receive browser and device information, referral and campaign information, approximate location, product selections, an order reference and purchase amounts. We do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, payment details, the content of your messages, or personalized dial and rotor text in our analytics events.
Optional analytics is off until you allow it. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our website tag. You can choose “Essential only” or change your selection at any time using . We honor the Global Privacy Control signal by keeping optional analytics off.
Optional advertising measurement
If you choose “Allow all,” Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API measure page views, product views, shopping-bag activity, checkout starts, contact actions and verified purchases to help us understand ad performance. Meta may receive your browser and device information, IP address, ad-click and browser cookie identifiers, page address, product IDs and purchase amounts. We do not send personalized dial or rotor text, message contents or customer contact details in these events. When you check out, we save your measurement choices and, where permitted, browser and ad-click identifiers with your order. Our AWS order system uses those choices to report a confirmed purchase to Google Analytics and Meta even if you do not return to the website after payment. A shared order reference prevents duplicate purchase counting. Meta advertising measurement stays off if you choose “Analytics only” or “Essential only,” and when Global Privacy Control is enabled. You can withdraw your choice using Cookie preferences. Learn more in Meta’s privacy policy.
Browser storage
We use local browser storage to remember your shopping bag and cookie preference. If analytics is enabled, Google may set analytics cookies. If advertising measurement is enabled, Meta may set advertising cookies; we also save a purchase measurement marker to avoid counting the same order again when a page is refreshed. Shopping and contacting us remain available if you decline analytics.
Your questions

Design help and feedback
If you choose to share feedback, we store your selected reason, watch style, design step and page category in private AWS storage for up to 180 days. This form does not ask for your name or email. Selecting an answer alone does not submit feedback.
With analytics permission, we also measure page engagement, scroll depth, design steps, predefined error categories and feedback choices. These signals show where activity stops, not a proven reason for leaving. We keep consented campaign source information for the current visit and first-source information for up to 30 days. If you save a design while analytics is enabled, limited campaign labels are stored privately with that design to help us understand which sources generate inquiries. We do not record keystrokes, sessions as video, or personalized dial text in analytics.
